About this Event

When you start learning about personal finance, it’s easy to read about what you should be doing with your money — but much harder to figure out how to create long-term strategies in your day-to-day financial life. In this interactive 4-week course with money coach Cindy Zuniga-Sanchez (founder of Zero-Based Budget), students will be given the steps they need to take the practical money advice they read about and actually put those tools into practice in their own lives. Each session will go in depth on one foundational money topic that’s crucial for long term financial success: building a workable budget, creating a sustainable debt payoff plan, setting up a retirement plan, and building credit to help with long-term goals.

Each 90 minute class will feature 60 minutes of step-by-step instruction from Cindy, followed by 30 minutes of live Q&A. Students will also be given exercises at the end of each class so they can start building their own financial foundation with the tools Cindy provides. They will also have access to two 45-minute “office hours” with Cindy, plus a dedicated Slack channel for community-based feedback, networking, and bonding.

  • You set financial goals at the beginning of the year, but need help reaching them.
  • You are looking for a community of like minded individuals who are working towards financial success.
  • You are looking for concrete action items to take to reach financial freedom including establishing your budget, accelerating debt payoff, understanding if you are on the right track with your retirement plan, and improving your credit
