Cyndi Darnell is an internationally renowned sex and relationship therapist, now situated in NYC. Originally from Australia, her approach spans the clinical to the esoteric. Her academic work is published in the Journal of Sex Education (UK) & the journal of Sexual & Relationship Therapy (UK) and she’s a peer reviewer for The Journal of Porn Studies (UK) and Sexuality Education USA. Her degrees range from a bachelor in adult education to two masters degrees in clinical sexology and Narrative Therapy from the Universities of Sydney and Melbourne respectively.  

In 2015 she released The Atlas of Erotic Anatomy and Arousal a pioneering educational video series designed to give upfront adult information about sex, the body and most importantly, pleasure! She teaches annually at the Omega Institute in New York and she’s a long time team member and teaching partner of Barbara Carrellas’ Urban Tantra Professional Training Program.

She’s currently working on her first book exploring the fusion of the mind, body and heart in enhancing and exploring libido and desire. 

Her work in adult sex and relationships education has been published in media outlets globally including The Washington Post, New York Magazine, Huff Po, Reader’s Digest, Sydney Morning Herald, The Guardian and Aussie TV series LukeWarmSex. She’s spearheading progressive sex & relationships seminars and workshops for adults that deeply change people’s lives and in 2015 was the only sexologist named on MindBodyGreen’s Top 100 Women to Watch.

She counsels individuals & couples and polys, produces training for professionals on sex and the human condition, and offers insight into the quandaries of the erotic to transform fear into freedom. She sees clients face to face in NYC and globally via video online.
